Although this is one of her simplest dresses on display, this is my favourite. I love the Victorian look to it. Designed by Zandra Rhodes
This is my 2nd favourite dress from the collection. I love the intricate beading. This is designed by Princess Diana's favourite designer, Catherine Walker.
Princess Di wore this to the premier of Back to the Future. This is my 3rd favourite dress. I just love the details of the back of the dress, and what a nice touch that she added the pearls.
Midnight blue silk velvet dress by Catherine Wallker. This is the dress that she wore to dance with John Travolta at the White House State Dinner.
Designed by Catherine Walker worn in Scotland. Black velvet bodice with a full skirt.
Princess Diana seems to have loved velvet. She wore this to her official portrait as well as to the first night Gala Performance of Les Miserables. Designed by Bruce Oldfield.
Both dresses are designed by Catherine Walker and photograph by Mario Testino. The above pic is her last official portrait.
Another velvet dress designed by Catherine Walker for a feature in Vanity Fair.
Designed by Catherine Walker. What an amazing embroidery.
The Princess can pull off any look including this long sequined green dress worn in Vienna designed by Catherine Walker.
One shoulder dresses are one of Princess Diana's signature style. The caption for the velvet green dress indicates that a close inspection reveals a hand print of a child imprinted on the fine velvet. I could just imagine little William or Harry trying to grab mums attention before she dashes off to an elegant party. Green dress by Victor Edelstein. Nautical dress by Catherine Walker.
I agree with you. She was an amazing and unlucky woman.

ReplyDeleteHi Haze! I love Princess Diana. It's the purity of her heart that reflects her beauty on the outside. She might have been a good queen had she not wed Charles at an early age.
ReplyDeleteAnyway, my favorite is the midnight blue silk velvet dress. She just looks so stunning. :)
