Crack me up!

I have been following the new "cracked" nail trend lately. I never thought I would jump on the bandwagon as I thought it looked kind of messy. I was at Sally's today and imagine that, buy 2 nail polishes and get one free. I couldn't resist! I ended up buying two from China Glaze "Crackle" line. Needless to say I am in love with this look. Messy? well more like edgy :)

You can use any base coat you want. I used "Shocking Pink," also by China Glaze. (Sorry for the bad quality pic, taken by my IPhone.) Make sure that the base polish is completely dry before adding the "Crackle" polish. I used "Black Mesh." The amount of crackle polish you use will affect the finish look. The thicker the coat the larger the effect. I use medium thick coat on mine and I love the finish look. Make sure to finish the look with a top coat to seal the design.
