Victoria Day Long Weekend + Casa Manila

It's a long weekend in Canada! Here are just some pictures over the weekend. I did nothing special. Fireworks were out of the question due to the weather.

I wore this out on Saturday since the weather was fabulous. Next 5 days includes rain in the forecast which is depressing me already.
Shirt: Zara
Skirt: Forever 21
White leather bag: thrifted
Sunnies: Winners
Anchor Necklace: Winners
Shoes: Unbranded
I bought this "walking shoes" at a really cheap price. It is quite comfy, and good for walking for a long time. I don't wear flats so the little bit of heel is good for me .
My niece who is more obsessed with Hello Kitty than I am. In fact, I think she re-started my HK obsession. 
Sunglasses from GAP. Forever 21 Shirt. 
BF and I decided to check out a new restaurant. Casa Manila We went on a whim so I only brought my iPhone with me. I will definitely be back. though. Amazing authentic Filipino cuisine. Mila, the owner personally asked how the food was, which I believe is a nice touch. Also, I always measure how good a restaurant is by the cleanliness of their washroom, but not the only measure of course. This was one of the cleanest washroom I have ever been, not to mention very nice decor (for those people who likes taking pics in the washroom ;) 
Pancit Canton. Generous portion. We didn't finish it, but happily took the leftover to go.
Really crispy calamari. 
Their spring rolls is a must!

And of course, you can't visit a Filipino restaurant without having halo-halo. My bf is obsess with this. Can't you tell?

    i know what you mean about we the weather, it so terrible here in England. Only very rarely sunny and then there is a chance that you'll have a good wind with it lol. But i guess you get just get used to it at some point.
    OMG your niece is sooo cute :)
    ..And yeah, a good restaurant is a lot more more than just good food, it has to be very clean too. Your pictures are always making me soo hungry :P
