OOTD - Polka Dot Shorts

It is finally summer in Toronto and I can finally stop complaining about the weather. Today, I finally got a chance to drop by at the Design Exchange to view Princess Diana's dress collection. The fourteen dresses has traveled around the world and its final stop is in Toronto before being auctioned off. Princess Diana had an amazing style and she is a true fashion icon. It felt surreal being able to see her dresses in person.

I will post the pictures later since it is quite a bit of photos. In the meantime, here is what I wore today.

Here is a sneak peek of one of Princess Diana's beautiful dress.

After staying at the gallery longer than necessary ( I didn't want to leave) we were very hungry and decided to hit up Woo Buffet Restaurant and Lounge at Yonge and Dundas. I would describe it as a bit more upscale than your typical buffet since the decor is modern and the view of the city is great. The selection of food was pretty good, however some of the dishes were not warm enough, and others taste bland. There are however, enough food that I like. Service is excellent as waitstaff are very attentive. The only thing that I was peeved at was the patio was not ready when we got in at around 5:20. Ten minutes after we were seated, of course the patio opened. 

First serving. I loved the shrimp and sweet potato tempura. 

I could never eat more than  two plates even when I am very hungry. Although it looks like a lot of food I don't actually eat all of them, although I try to since I hate wasting food. Buffets tend to make money off of me since I eat less than I should.

Desserts are the best part. I skip the fruits and ice cream and go straight to the cakes and pastries. I always save room for them :)

Screw diet, food is my first love!
